HiYa all, I had the pieces lying on the garage floor for so long, I shouda wrote eveything down!

Those two black spring clips ( the ones that want to slice your finger to shreds) that hold the clutch pedal rod to the Z-bar and the other "adjusting rod on the other end of the Z-bar, my question is: On that spring clip, does all 4 ends of the spring clip go "under" the lip or does only 2 ends go "under" the lip to fasten it together? Only pressing the two end clips under the lip, it spins so loose I wasnt sure, so I tried to force all 4 spring ends under the lip, almost shredded my fingers but "got er done" and it's a really tight fit. Whats the correct way to do this? Ya know, alzheimers really sucks! Thanks veru much! MoPar to ya!

All 4. Mine are snug, but not overly tight. If necessary use mechanics gloves or pliers.
