I just bought a set of Auto Meter gauges for my 57 truck, the speedo takes a 5/8 course thread cable end and my truck doesn 't have a speedo cable right now. So, my question is- what kind of speedo cable works in an application like this?

What type of transmission are you using? If it's a '66 or later Mopar a '66-'67 car cable will have the correct ends. Available in most auto supplies.
