Hello guys. I am looking for someone who has installed any of The CAP front tubular suspension components. I have some questions other then the ridiculous instructions offer and the Tech line can become less then easy.
Any help I would appreciate and that possibly we can talk other then writing will help me.

Not to say your stuff isn't OK, but you should at least be aware that there have been failures. If they were mine I'd reinforce the welds.

I had already bought my cap upper control arms before I found out about a possible failure so I gussetted them myself.

i have been closely monitoring another brand i purchased last summer. so far ok.

alot of sharp guys out there with tig/fab skills but maybe not as much engineering background or r&d program so pays to keep an eye on these products.

Scary S**T! Never saw that post before. Thanks for the info. Had I only known before I spent the $$$ but isnt that always the way?
I would be making a personal visit to the manufacturer upon a failure and that part would have a serious price tag attached to it!

The only modification made to mine was welding in plates to hold the sway bar bushings. One of the magazines destructively tested the lower control arms and the CAP units stood up to much more than the stockers. I think it was Mopar Action, but I don't remember for sure.

$500 for bare parts. I paid $200 with ball joints and bushings installed 2 yrs ago.
