We have a local truck canvas shop. They make truck bed canvas, sell and uphostery truck seats, make Kinnedyne tie downs and they make seat belts. Look for a local place like that, I bet they can do it as long as you can reuse your hardware and are not too picky on the webbing style. It's gonna be way cheaper than sending them to a place like Snakeoyle (sp?) There's other places to send them too, but I bet a local uphostery shop would be cheaper.

Ssnake Oyl and Kruisin Moons are the ones that restore seat belts. Snakey is pricey, not sure about Cruisin.

I had Snake do mine and they turned out extremely nice. I'd use them again.

Contact Bill Edwards. He's a member on Moparts and does an excellent job for a fraction of the cost. I guarantee you can't tell the difference between Snakeoyl. I think his handle on here is 69440 .

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but how good are the repros? I paid Sake-Oyl to do mine and sure they turned out great, but the price was not so great. Back when I did the Charger, that's all that was available.

how much does Snake oyl charge? the belts in my charger arent bad, color isnt faded, tags have a readable but faded patina, my biggest problem is the shoulder belt elastic is strethced out, I guess I should email bill and see if he can just do that for me.

I have used two sets of Bill Edwards seat belts, and they are top notch. And he's a stand up guy... Great to do business with.

for snnakeoyl a few years ago there prices for an entire set was between $700-1000 depending on what was wrong. they do an excellent job though. very pricey but big overhead for their business. that other guy might work out of his house so it is probably cheaper.

I would put Bill's belts up against Snakeoyl's and I would bet money you couldn't tell the difference. Just because he doesn't screw you, doesn't mean you're getting an inferior product.

Where does Bill Edwards live? I know a Bill Edwards also but he lives in Florida but sometimes stays in Washington. Is he the same one?
