Does anyone make a smaller gear than a 3.55 for a 8.75 489case rearend?

Yukon makes a 3.23 and a 2.76, if you can find them in stock somewhere.

Me too!

I have a very old 489 case with 3.23s so they definitely were produced at one time or another.

I'm pretty sure 3.55 are the tallest gears still being made. 2.76, 2.94 and 3.23's were available, so you may be able to find an old set in stock somewhere? An option is to buy a used 3rd member with a set of the gears you want already in it?

Sweet car btw

I am swapping a set of 3.23 for 3.73's right now.... stock gears in good shape. This is from a stock 489 case with fine spline..... Check your PM's... TBF
