If I set my pinion angles with trans down 2 and rear down 1 like in the chart in the tech articles I get a rear u-joint working angle of 6 degrees. Is this o.k. or too much? Not trying to start a pinion angle argument just wondering if 6 degrees is too much angle between driveshaft and rear pinion. The chart shows 5-10 is o.k but everything I found online says it should be less than 3. Thanks

Whats your math for the 6* angle.

If the rear was pointed up 2* it would be parallel
with the trans... now start counting down from there
to what your reading is... thats the degrees you have

The math for 6 degrees is drive shaft is 5 degrees down and with the 1 degree down on pinion that equals a 6 degree working angle of u- joint correct or am i wrong?
