I went to the Track today to run the X275 class.
I was able to sneak in a Time trial before the race. Car went 10.95 at 121 with a 1.59 60ft New best on the motor. on pump gas

So then we roll into 1st round of qualifying for 275 this is only a 1/8 mile class must run a 275 60 15 drag radial.

Car went 6.95 in the 1/8 at 98 on the motor

2nd round of Qualifying I put some juice to it 100 shot Car ran 6.40 at 106 in the 1/8 with a 1.40 60ft which would be somewhere in the 10.0 in the 1/4 went 6.53 llast year with more juice

1st round I got sent home packing But I up the Juice a little more and the car went 6.19 at 110 with a 1.37 60ft which would have been somewhere in the 9.70 in the 1/4

We had 7 cars show up they were paying back to the top 8 so I got my 25 dollar entry back and qualified 5th

I wanted to make one more run on the juice thru the 1/4 so I put My 295 65 15 goodyear drag radials on and trimmed some of the fuel for the nitrous and the car went 9.88 at 136 with a 1.40 60ft new Best

Needless to say i'm Very happy with the cars performance with the few upgrades I did this winter.

car weighed 3480lbs with me in it and it is Registed and I drive it on the street Only car in the 275 class with licence plates

All these specialty race classes are tough, including 275 tire. The April 275 race at MIR had some fast cars. The winner went 5.24 at 135 mph (1/8 mile). MIR X275 class 4-1-2011

They have an 8 car cut off for qualification, and all 8 cars ran 5 second 1/8 mile times.

The blue chevelle was running 5.70 at 119 all motor


Yes that X275 class has alot of fast cars in it.
