After years of sitting in the corner getting dusty we will test the beast at Maple Grove on May 8
At this point we have no idea what we have right or wrong with the tune up and are not expecting much more than to do some burnouts and 60's. should all go well then maybe 330's or ???

Fred, I'll rub my rosary beads and pray for perfect air/fuel mixtures for ya.
I just hope than thin aluminum mailbox stays together at max boost...

Fred, based on the amount of smoke on the hit, looked like either your rings are washed out, or you just had a lot of oily soot in the exhaust. Burnout looked good!

That car is liable to end up on the moon if it gets vertical. What a monster. Superb work and looks.

here's the answer to "why is it smoking"
It is not produced by the engine but rather the turbo's.
A turbo drains its oil from gravity, nothing more and nothing less. If there is any restriction in the turbo's drain path back to the pan, oil will build up in the center housing. This oil is going to take the path of least resistance and will leak out of the turbine's side piston ring and turn into blue smoke coming out of the exhaust.
