Ok....so I forgot a few in my original post......

How about at least 3 more posts for the guy who has test results on his bench at home comparing 6 different kinds of light bulbs as to which one is the best...

One to talk about the containerload of rare Australian lightbulbs he's bringing in.

An entire site to boycott Phillips lightbulbs because they posted a diatribe on their website about how Moparts members are a bunch of whiners who couldn't find their a$$es with both hands.

One to talk about how Galen certified that his lightbulb is a "one of one" and 20 to tell him how Galen doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.

One to post a link every week to that "one of one" purple 1970 lightbulb that someone is trying to sell for 200 grand.

One to post a searing criticism of "lightbulbs today" magazine. Twenty others to jump on the bandwagon, and 20 more to try to explain that "lightbulbs today" is actually a really good magazine. At least five more to jump in to say that that's the reason why the only lightbulb magazine THEY subscribe to is "Bulb guide" which is written by REAL bulb lovers instead of the closet fluorescent tube guys who write "lightbulbs today."

At least five guys weekly to write about how they, once again, proved that their bulbs are WAY brighter than the japanese bulbs.

O.K. How about the one guy that finds an Ebay auction where the individual has the numbers and pertinant components from an old rare broken light bulb that hints that it could be transfered to a different less desirable bulb. This detestable practice is known as "re-bulbing".

The proper term you are trying to remember is "re-lamping" and reservations have been arranged "downstairs" for all who practice this Evil art.

BTW - You all need to go back to Sunday school, we call them 'lamps' in the industry.

I have spoken.

P.S. - That one dark grey sock you are looking for is behind the dryer in the basement.

Ok i came into this thread late but....
what about the guy who is complaining that he stoped by a home that has a beat up box of rare mopar bulbs. that is just going to rust and the owner should sell to him before it goes to crap.

Don't get us started, Gary...Ypu know what'll happen.

Pretty soon Oz and I will be trying to calculate the heat given off by turning a bulb's threads in a socket, and keep at it, getting farther and farther out there until you're all wearing hip waders and the mods whack this.

Without all these light bulbs this Moparts site sure would be Dim. Some folks are left in the Dark anyways....
