Just changed from points to the Mopar electronic ignition conversion.Stock 68 383.Wondering what gap and what plugs and wires would be best? TIA

Cant go wrong w the std .035". Later might exp w .040" & see how it acts. Firecore wires have been highly touted on here but I'm sure wont b cheap. (ain't tried them myself). Myself I like solid cores but iirc they wont work w pertronix or MSD. I extend the rotor tip blade w solder to decrease that gap to the underside of the cap terminal(s) as I feel that excessive clearance there is wasted spark energy that is better put to use inside the cyl

I only run MSD now. Love them, and they kinda look stock with the red boots.

If its a stock set up, with stock HP manifolds, you can not beat the 250 ohm 8mm wires. Stock appearing, but the F.A.S.T. guys with 900 horse are using them. $80 and shipping.. Take out of the box and install.. Thanks .. They fit allof the stock looms..
