So I have a nice pretty griffin universal 26" radiator for my project... 22" core, no big deal to me..
Should I center this up in the core with even space overlapping the left and right of the core support? Or should I center it up to the water pump on the engine?
I am running an electric fan as well.

either way you do it , use a fan shroud that covers all of the radiator core if possible. i have had problems before with electric fans and the car getting hot. each time i tossed the shroud that came with the fan since it didnt cover all of the core and made one to cover it all and it always fixed the problem and ran cooler. also i have had a lot better luck with the fan on the engine side not in fromt of the radiator. just a little advice you may or may not have allready this stuff before

Also, you might want to make sure you have clearance for your battery tray. I ran into this on my 70 Coronet and ended up having to notch the tray to get it to fit. It's not a big deal -- just something to look out for.
