on the timing, you'll need to change the advance springs in the distributor for lighter springs, so that you have full mechanical advance sooner. you'll want it all in by 2500 or so. then, set the timing advance with the engine actually AT 2500-3000 so that the timing is fully advanced, and you're setting the total advance up around 36-38.

A 6139s Thermo-Quad is an excellent model and will work great on your car. This is one I recently restored for a fellow member.

looks good. How about 2 of them on a tunnel ram.....

They work great on a tunnel ram.Dave

You can't go wrong w/ a 750DP. The 3.23's are what's going to cause you head-ache with that cam. You are going to drop the hammer at 4500 and it's going to want to fall flat. The DP will be more tunable than the TQ. As mentioned make sure you have your timing set..I'd try all in full 38* at 2400.

The DP is a bit more user-friendly, but
the TQ does produces overall a better torque curve, in comparison. DP's ARE rpm happy, since they can kick the secys in on demand. TQ's create torque, till their secys kick in off of vac. When properly adjusted watch out!!

Scott,these work well too!

Actually I agree....A similar carb design in fact, pretty decent piece overall. However I'd choose a TQ over the Rochester for a few reasons, weight being one, fuel temperature being another, and so on.

The kit fits '78-'84 800 and 850 cfm carbs and the bowl is for '78-'84 800 cfm carbs. It can be used on '75-'77 800 cfm carbs(except '75-'77 440 trucks)also and all aftermarket SuperQuad spread bores, David.

Over my 750 eddy i have on top of my 440 the eddys stock in outta the box and my motor has some issues i think its due to my 484 cam lacking fuel im gonna also try a Holley 750 dp my buddy runs on a camaro putting out 507 hp.

Try the Thermoquad, you might be surprised. Ma mopar new what she was doing using it.
I just got mine back together and WooHoo

The TQ is hard to beat either way you go the name gives the big secret away. And with some home work you can tune in a mean carb. Fuel runs cooler and which is what thermaquad means. Cooler fuel means better fuel mileage. Cooler fuel also means "MORE-POWER" AKA "MOPAR". Now the facts can be proven through science. I have them all and pound for pound mama knew whats best?

Good deal man! That is why I only use ThermoQuads; best in gas mileage and performance and T.Q.'s work on almost any engine!

No, just a friends hopped-up slant six '73 Space Duster(fold down rear seat). It has an 800 cfm T.Q. I built for the 225 engine.

Here is a pic of my Sizzler pkg A59 Demon:
