If everyone would be nice to the man that spent millions of $$$$$ to build a track for us Racers,Maybe he would buy ESPN. Be nice to see the whole NHRA race on time everytime.  He has the $$$ to buy all the ESPN networks. Drag-Racing 24 hours a day,maybe some of us little wanna be Bracket-Racers could get some TV coverage.  If nothing else the 4-wide racing give us something to talk about today.

A buddy of mine has been to tnt there twice and they ran just two lanes, after going the second time he said he wouldn't ever take the car again because of how horrible the track prep was. Pretty bad considering his home track is Shadyside home of the VHT'd dirt lol

Bruton may have some coin but the Mouse House owns ESPN and I think Mickey trumps Smith.

Here's my take on the 4 wide racing, my sister sent me an email to see if I saw it on tv, then she called me to make sure I got the email. I went to work Monday morning and my boss and several co-workers talked about it all day and about how their kids enjoyed it. Tonite I took my son to baseball practice and it was the main topic of conversation for the first half hour. I never brought it up one time, they did. And these are all people that could care less about Drag Racing. If they will let you and 3 of your friends grudge race against each other all at the same time you can't tell me that wouldn't be a blast, especially for the younger crowd.

Having the ability To go to another set of lanes and run two cars while there is cleanup/track prep on the other two, YES.
Keep two lane racing, but have the advantage to not have to wait for cleanups.
For the bracket and TNT guys, This would do wonders every time a honda explodes going down the track. Wouldn't have to wait for a cleanup.

Remember now, the 4 wide thing is Bruton's baby. NHRA did not want it, but Bruton gets what Bruton wants. The county didn't want the track either, but Bruton gets what Bruton wants. Ask HemiFred how he likes the track prep there.
