I have a 69 Charger R/T SE w a/c. None of the a/c was w the car when I bought it. Just pulled all the a/c hoses out of a 70 coronet 318 car. I have a compressor off a 383 that was out of a 70 monaco wagon, I know that bolts on. According to the shop manual the compression suction muffler locations are the only things that look different. I don't have the liquid tube, it was replaced w rubber hose, but i do have its end fittings. Is there any way to reconfigure this to make it work, or does anyone have the correct pieces? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you try Classic Auto Air? I'm pretty sure they repair and have parts for factory air. On my car i figured it was going to be cheaper and work better with one of their replacement kits.

Might see if you can get the OE pieces from the parts for sale section on here (it'd b cheaper) and what gas are you going to b using. I think an 134 conversion will need a new reciever/drier o rings barrier type hoses diff oil for the compressor diff expansion valve next to the firewall

Are you sure that comp bolts on?
The 383 & 440 rear mounting brackets are different.

I went through all this last season to put the A/C back on my 69 R/T....NOT pretty.
The "correct" stuff is 1 year only. The hoses from either a 383 or 440 will work...the rear comp bracket as well as the tube brackets are different from 383-440.
See this thread for the bracket explanation...

here are a few detail pictures to help in your quest,,,,,and good luck,,,,your going to need it.
Like Chris said, 1969 is one year only for most of the lines and 1 year only for most of the brackets.

This replaces the wrong one in the above pic.
And is the right one for a 1969, BUT, Unfortunately this is small block.
I still need the right one for a 1969 B-RB car
