you can "bypass" it with this two basic methods:
-splicing or jumping together the two yellow wires at reset button.
-switching around the two yellow wires ( one of them traced ) at bulkhead to feed directly the starter relay from ign switch
this is how it works:

that will remain the warning system in working order and still being able to start the engine. From a CLEAN modification point of view I would switch the two yellow wires at bulkhead you can also replace the control unit for an orange one ( Canadian ) what it is already jumped INSIDE for the start circuit since was not a Canadian Goverment requirement, and will still work the system like the warning controls brain it is. I think green boxes are non interlocked too: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SEAT-BELT...sQ5fAccessoriesbut I know personally FOR SURE the oranges. I have a NOS blue for show purpouse but an orange mounted on mine the interlock control box drives headlights on buzzer ( if propper buzzer mounted ), ign key buzzer and of course seatbelts buzzer and light. myself, I likes all the stuff working on my car

On attachment, plastic yellow stuff is the buzzer what buzzs to ign key AND seatbelt fasten on 74s. On earliers the plastic piece just for seatbelt, The metallic was used for lights on buzz. Key in buzz was shared with horn relay on 71/73 period. but if you want to add the lights on buzzer function, just require to change the yellow plastic one for this unit what is a ONE BUZZER DEVICE FOR ALL FUNCTIONS ( instead being separatelly one buzzer for each warning signal ): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NOS-MOPAR...sQ5fAccessoriesplug is shared for both so is a plug and play add. Its located at passenger side of glovebox liner, down the dash frame Interlock control box is at driver side of glovebox liner
