Just wondering what kind of performance upgrades are out there for these cars. I just picked up one, it was a left over and I only got it cause I got it for half price. Couldn't get a better deal. Plus the wife pretty much took over my new truck so I needed to get something anyhow. But now I dont want to drive it so Im back to driving my van, fun fun. Anyhoe what do we have for preformance. Does anyone know what they run in the quarter mile. Thanks.

As far as stock performance. I know my wifes 09 5.7 Charger Daytona ran 14.68 100.5 mph. Thats dead stock leaving in drive traction control on. I did loose alot of time spinning off the line and spinning between 1-2 shift and a little between 2-3 shift.

Stock they should run high 13's. You got the Eagle motor so it's a VVT engine with, basically, a better version of the 6.1 heads, also, the intake is basically a plastic version of the 6.1 intake. I don't think anyone makes cams for it as of yet, but everything else is available, ie exhaust, headers, etc. I think with bolt on you could get to SRT8 performance pretty easily.

my 06 Magnum RT AWD did 14.02 w/ the program and still more in it. Not bad for a 4400lb tank.

It had 72.6 when I picked it up. Like I said it was a left over and they wanted to get it of the books. So I got a pretty good deal on it.

I wonder if anyone would know if they have a turbo kit for these cars yet. Or supercharger kit. Looking for more than just the programer. Thanks...

STS makes a rear mount turbo system for the LX cars, and there are numerous companies that make superchargers for them, centrifigal and roots/screw type. Only thing is, last time I looked at these systems they were for the 05-08 cars, in 09 they went to the different heads, intake, and VVT, shouldn't make a difference but it's worth looking into.
