between high fuel prices and no job it's going to be tough to do anything,at least the car is 95% done and in the trailer now so I can get the suspension gone over and set up properly,I am going to try and hit most of the Mopower events if I can,,or just go local and test and tune alot.

I am REALLY thinking about not running at all this year... with the money I am laying out on my street rod and prices of diesel fuel... I dont know if I can... just to go local it would cost about $150 in diesel and then entry fees... its going crazy... and now our governor whats to tax my retirement on state ... plus I have to pay out a fair bit this year on taxes... the pot is drying up REAL FAST

I have one trip planned for sure, Kearney, NE in June. Other than that, RT66 is 25 minutes from my house, and they only have 8 races this year. I'm good so far.

I let my license expire and the cage cert. I'm sure my belts that made one pass are expired as well.  My car will just sit another year like it did for the last 2.

So far I have 25+ race days planned at Pacific. 4+ days at Bremerton and 2 Trips to Boise (1000 mile round trip).
Thats a start, we'll see where else I end up.

Just have to win more...  I'm not doing some of the long haul races I had planned....going to race at PRP more often...when I travel it's for bigger $ stuff.

No way.... that would be like giving away money,
I'll finish it and drive it... me and my buddy are
pretty sure we're blowing off drag week out west...
we have a guy local that he knows that puts on a
small drag week here in Mich and goes into Canada
so we might go on that instead

I'm mostly running the local track this year (LORI)...and it's only 7 miles away . I might hit Muncie for the big bucks race over the 4th of July weekend (3 5k races), but that's only a 2 hour drive.
67 Barracuda street car, 408, e85, 1.38 60', 6.44 @105.9 in the 1/8 mile, 10.19 @130.5 in the 1/4...so far....

I am really glad I had all of this stuff bought before I got laid off..I am really lucky to have a track 37 miles from home. The points races are two day events,that saves on travel. We take our own food and drink...That helps! I still want to hit all of the points races..There are 12. I have never been to an E.T.finals event and that is my goal...
