Grill shutters!

The New 2011 Ford Fusions are advertising this for more fuel aerodynamic efficiency.


Will this be another modern trick to incorperate into our race cars.

Old school , some of us have been blocking off the grill Fixed for years at the expense of a cooling airflow.

Teams have been doing this for years... look at NASCAR,
but they use tape... guys in drag racing use plastic
on the front... it does work

Actually on the old trucks it was to keep the temp up in cold weather.That why you see a lot of new ones with covers over the rad opening.Rocky

Ive read articles guys taping carboard cutouts into their grills and claiming .1 ET drop....
