How does the weatherstrip install at the roofrail on a 70 Challenger hardtop? I have new weatherstrip from Metro softseal, and I am not sure where to start. What is left and right and front or back. Any tips appreciated.

The front portion of the weather strip that starts in the door should look kinda "flipperish" with a steel reinfocment plate imbedded in the "flipper" part, should also be a screw hole to secure it in the front section of the door jamb, the rear of the rubber just dives into the rear window channel,......to determine left to right just take a moulding and press it into the stainless steel weather strip channel, the lip edge that protrudes lower, should be towards the interior of the car, this allows you to roll up the windows with the door closed, and open the door wiothout tearing out the moulding, with the glass up and the door closed, you should be able to see the "lip" compressed behind the upper section of the glass......sometimes the weather strip is marked with a l or R?......did you check?....if not hope this helps you!
