My 91 3/4ton is having an overdrive issue. It won't kick down in to a lower gear if it is in overdrive. I can stick the peddle to the floor and it stay's in OD unless I manualy drop into 2nd. Unplug the OD at the trans and 1st to 3rd works like it's suppose to. My error codes are 37 - part throttle soleniod driver circuit fault, 45 - overdrive soleniod circuit fault. Being the trans shifts into OD I would guess the soleniod in the trans is working. but where is the part throttle unlock soleniod at? Or should I be looking at something else to get it working again.
I can't shut the OD off with the button on the dash either..

What engine/transmission? Only the 904 based trans has the throttle unlock solenoid and it just unlocks the converter.

It is a 360/518. I have sence found out that being I don't have a lock-up converter that code will come up anyway and means nothing. So I guess the only code that counts is #45 overdrive solenoid circuit fualt. The soleniod works but wont disengage. I also found a spot in the wiring harness on the right side of the intake manifold that looks like it has been on fire years ago. So if it ever stops raining I will open it up and see what damage is done there..
