Hey Guys,

I was wondering which adhesive is best for installing vinyl tops.... I know everyone down south (usa) swears by DAP weldwood... but it isn't available up here in canada...
Has anyone used 3M's sprayable Top and Trim #08046 ??
Any other suggestions ?

Thanks
Shawn

I did use that 3m product about 4 years ago on my car. It still looks great. I had some air bubbles from off-gassing that soon went away but worried me for a day or 2.

I've always used 3M's SUPER TRIM ADHESIVE spray for vinyl top installation on my own and customers cars for the past 20+ years,.....generally 2 cans are enough to do a good sized B body, but always best to have a 3rd or 4th can laying around, as they always seem to clog up at the worst time, better to have a spare can, than racing to the store for another in the middle of the job,...DAMHIK

No Problems ?? The hot rodders fourms have some stories about the super trim adhesive failing, the reccomendation was to avoid anything from a rattle can?
