..OK, did some more digging, the owner died, and the kids shut it down.End of Lead Supreme 130. Anyone using any thing other than the parts store 104 or similar products, that REALLY work for lead and octane increase???? I'm running 11-1 plus and an overhaul is not in the budget this summer.
Any help or suggestions out there?? THANKS, Hhead

I have been using ACES IV from BND Automotive for about 5+ years with great results. Their additive has many befits for me including less valve recession, octane boost & a fuel stabilizer for over the winter.
http://www.bndautomotive.com/page/page/931760.htm
Just like regular gas their prices have gone up considerably from when I first bought their stuff....a gallon of their product lasts me 2-3 seasons depending on how much I drive....looking on their site a gallon treats 768 gals of gas.

Brian, who is a Mopar guy that has/had a '69 Charger( so you know he's cool already) is very knowledgeable & can talk to you for hours at length about the properties & flash points of any type of fuel etc.

I am due for a purchase soon myself as well and i see he has a new formula ACES IV-P, for higher comp engines & engines that are prone to detonation (like mine is at times)

The ACES IV (formerly sold as TK-7 by the company that originally developed it) stuff is most beneficial as a cylinder lubricant to reduce ring & bore wear.

I've got a copy of the original test done by David Vizard on TK-7 and the "effective" octane increase as he described it was very low under conditions that duplicate normal street usage. The scenario when the "effective" octane increase showed up most was with low water temps, controlled induction temp, etc., that are more representative of something like a track-only drag car would experience.

I've taken exception to how BND markets this stuff as an octane booster for this very reason, although I do use it for the top-end lubrication benefits.

It's still available!!!

www.OctaneSupreme.com

Kemco sold it as Lead Supreme before the name change to Octane Supreme. They also offered some private labeling for vendors...

The race fuel line was sold back in August...

take a 55 gallon barrel to an airport close by or buy a 55 gal barrel of race gas & proportion in however much you need. I think most of those additives are snake oil (some help a bit) and if you're compromising your adv curve (which only helps a bit & has serious downsides) or water injection or any other bandaid you are seriously limiting your eng's power potential. If you build a monster you gotta feed it what it needs.
