The biggest dumbest rookie mistake you can make from my experience is a nitrous system that allows you to hit it too early, and allow any kind of fuel pudling in the intake. BOOM.
There are currently pieces of my intake manifold orbiting earth up alongside the interenational space station.
play it smart and read about nitrous systems in general and the various accompanying safety pieces like rpm window swithes, hobb switches and the like.
There was a great piece of equipment that I am unsure they still make called the nitrous mastermind. Jacobs ignition made it and I loved it.
I believe they were bought out by accel though. It had rpm window settings, timing retard, rev limiting and a few other things built in.
Great litle box it was.
