My "crewchief" finally get fed up with using my cheapo spring tester and came up with this one  You can get all parts from e bay for a fraction of what a "real" one costs you need one arbor press, one digital caliper and one load cell with display

I couldn't find any for that cheap  , and I wanted one that goes to 1000 + pounds also I really like building stuff, it s maybe not always so smart but I can live with that

It is bolted with four 4 mm bolts, it was a pita to drill... you need to use some kind of hard metal drill bits
