i've done a few, but not in a 73 charger...If you can get a Harness from YearOne (manufactured by M&H @ http://www.wiringharness.com/ ) It would be foolish to attempt the install w/o removing the dash. I would suggest treating the dash as an entire unit, do all the work on the bench, then re-install it as a single unit
