ok working on a friends 71 Charger 500 that is a California car with A/C
what i need a pic of is where the Charcoal canister goes as well as the horns.. what is the correct washer bottle ?
we are trying to get the motor bay back to stock looking ..

I have fished around a lot online for good pics .. but i seem to find only few pics of car with A/C and i can see the canister and in pic i can see it .. i dont see where the horns are mounted...

I thought charcoal canister was from 72 on? or was it a California thing? i know my car did not have one and it was a LA built car. If so here is a rough picture of a 72 rallye...

and the can itself..................................................... Also, I don't have a good picture , but the horn would go outside of what is considered the engine compartment. There is a large box area behind the head lights on each side. The horns are held on by a bolt that goes down beside the hood bumper.(round mini hockey puck looking thing that is near the fender on the inside. Look at "2nd" picture. See the round black things on the fenders? There should be a bolt hole right beside it and the horn will attach underneath that lip of the fender.

The black round cylinder with silver tubes coming out of it is the drier for the refrigerant...i think. It has a site glass for a visual check as well. The above picture shows a charcoal canister. The octopus of black rubber tubes and hoses go to the back of the carburetor, air cleaner and a host of other nonsense.
More importantly, if you look closely on the "2ND" picture you can see what appears to be the white top of the washer bottle. It is closer to the radiator support and a different shape(large square top). To me, it looks as if the horn is beside it ...closer to the engine. I would strongly encourage you to do diligent research before buying parts. There are significant differences between the 71 and 72.

the way it has been is the horns are mounted to the inner fender next to the washer bottle ...

But I still cant find a 71 with a canister. the canister has been on this car from the time be bought it in the 80s ...
but it a 1970 canister not a 72 style ...

The horns where mounted under the CC and I have seen some that are mounted behind the CC on the front side of the rad support.

ok this is where im at with the motor bay now .... Im now reproducing the foam around the A/C line ... see upper left hand side or pic ...
