Is there anyone who is familiar with using a 440 truck or rv block that can tell me if the oil dipstick hole is just blocked with a plug on the engine block or do you have to drill it out yourself, the truck oil pan has the dipstick mounted right into the pan and you can not use this pan on a car, Thanks, Rodger

All the Big Block motorhome motors and truck motors I have worked with all had a steel plug in the block. I think if you take a small screw driver and pop them out. I just take a punch from the bottom side when the pan is off.
