I've been looking around for a fiberglass 6 pak hood. After I buy lets say an AAR hood, and have it prepped and painted i still have to buy different springs (since i don't want a pull off hood) I'm looking at the $1500+. My question is would I be better off using a satellite or coronet steel hood and an aftermarket scoop. Next question would I be better of using a satellite hood or a coronet hood for a 6pak look. BTW the hood would be going on my 68 RR pictured below

i made my six pack hood, using the factory hood, and a lot of measuring and cutting. there are other hoods besides aar. SIX PACK HOODSCOOP i got mine from this guy. he also sells a lift off hood. the 6 pack scoop i got from him, was excellent quality, no bumps, holes, cracks or defects. very sturdy, excellent gelcoat.
