Ok to steal show a little, so than equal amount of leafs on both sides or leave 1 extra in the right side as you would without caltracs?

I'm not trying to be difficult, it comes naturally....

on a 6 or 7 leaf spring that is only removing a short section that would only effect the front segment relating to windup.
yet the guy above is doing it with success......
so have you tried this yourself ?

I'm thinking that you are going to want to duplicate the mono leaf they sell, only with multiple leafs. i.e., full length segments from front eye to rear eye, stopping when you achieve the correct checking rate, to support the rear of the car.
how can i estimate the spring rate ?
or would it be a trial and error deal

Not being a smart a$$ but ask the Calverts what's the best way to do it....me I just bit the bullet and bought the whole package. Cal tracs, springs, shocks.
My best 60' is a 1.45 thru tailpipes on drag radials at 3800lbs
Exactly. All of the research has been done. There are better places to save 400 bucks IMO.
