Cooling fan is constantly running when engine is on. I tried swapping out the relays and when I pull the high speed one the fan runs low and vice versa.

The temp gauge on the dash reads correctly, coolant level is good.

The AC on the car is not functional.. AC compressor is seized and belt is removed. This has been this way since I purchased the car but the fan issue just started within the last week or so.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Unplug the AC pressure switch that screws into the hard line below the condenser.

I had the same problem with my 94 LHS.

Do not exactly remember the exact fix but it is related to the AC circuit.

There is a pressure sensor that tells the computer the AC is in demand. During this condition the computer tells the fans to run to cool the condenser.

I remember replacing a pressure switch and it's a very smart set up. The switch pushes on a Schrader valve so you don't lose freon when you unscrew it.

Where is this switch located? My cooling fan will trip the check engine light on occasion, and I notice it's not running, mine, like y'alls, seems to be operating all the time when it does work.

Sorry, it's been years since I swapped the switch. I only remember it being right on an AC line.
