John, cool thread; Barry thanks.
The one thing that I will remember this year is me, Pam, and Pete getting out of the RI nightclub fire. Everything else is icing.(or gravy, depending upon the area of the country you're from).
And it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway, meeting Moparts members and making new friends.

Wow, until reading John's list I didn't realize how much I've missed! Guess I don't spend as much time on here as the wife claims I do!

Gary, I can't believe I forgot you, Pam and Pete surviving the horrendous fire. I really should have had some coffee before I started typing! Anyways, THANK GOD y'all did survive it and may God bless those that didn't...

Ric, ya got two options. Ya can either spend more time here or wait for my annual year in review thread!

I have trouble putting value on things so its hard for me to add things. Only things exciting that happened for me was my trip to Michigan for the Woodward Dream Cruise & Blackout 2003. I got a ride in Unlawfl's Challenger and my wife & youngest kid had a great time on our 1st family vacation.
Hopefully 2004 will be more memorable if my plans come together and I can keep focused! ~Mike~

I saw alot of things that were extremely cool.

BBQ's getting bigger and bigger, meet-ups being a reunion of prior acquaintances, not just new people putting a name to a face. Cars going faster than you ever thought possible, projects that just blow your mind (DusterDave, 64Hemi, 572Jim and Stroked_Hemi just to name a few). Crazy long distance road trips. "Impossible tasks" (Enginemasters) that are somehow made possible. New board members who take the torch and continue the enthusiasm @ moparts.

If you would have asked me a year ago, I would have told you that going 10 seconds and landing on the best Mopar mag cover were dreams that were unlikely to happen. What really amazes me is the support everyone gives the other enthusiast, and how even in tight times, complete strangers arent afraid to open there wallet, or put a week of their time aside for a good cause.

A great 2003 if you ask me. Not without a few bumps in the early part of the year, but that seems to be an ever improving situation too.. Thanks EVERYONE!

Great post John!

John, with your Aussie Daytona road saga, wasn't the longest running thread also achieved? That's truly memorable too!

KudaKidd, the Aussie Daytona road trip thread was a long-running thread but I don't think it was the longest-running one. I seem to remember OzHemi had a thread on here about the ongoing resto of an Oz Charger that is just now making it's way over here to the states. I think that thread went on for like a month and a half! The Daytona road trip was definitely the funnest thing I've ever done though and the memories from it are as fresh as if it was just yesterday!

Okay other stuff I just thought of.

My breakdown. Man that was a bad time but you were all here for it and really truely helped me through some rough times!

(Group hug)

Okay, what else? Oh yah the collection of Mopar Jamie cars that have come, gone and are still sitting.

And the offer Mark Nixon gave Jamie and then it fell through.

Those were some big post also.....

The mid-summer Moparty get together, with Zippy's band cranking out the tunes all night long. And who can forget Un's fine master chef skills on the grill.

Thanks Frank/QUICKB!!

This summer was too busy for me to hit alot of the Mopar events local & out of town. So the UNLAWFL'S moparty was certainly MY favorite memory from this year. I have always wanted to have a rockin' outdoor party with Mopars and Zippy's band did an outstanding job at it. Of course, UN's culinary talents were the main drawing attraction but I know the Curtis Sumpter Project was a pleasant surprise for many.
