Hello,

I have a friend who is redoing an 8 3/4 for his Road runner and has run into a problem. He needs the part number for the Threaded Adjuster Nut. I have attached a pic for clarification.

Here is an excerpt I found on it, "The passenger side axle has a threaded adjuster to set axle shaft endplay."

Can you help a Mopar brother out?

Thank You,
Bob

I'm pretty sure those are not being repopped you will have to go to the junkyard or look in the parts for sale section under differentials. Save some trouble and use green bearings and you can scrap the end play adjustment all together.

Drdiff here on the board has them though.
Make sure that the other half of the retainer is threaded too use this in. Did you check the other side. Sometimes people put them in the left side instead, it really makes no difference.

Originally the retainer and threaded adjuster were sold as a unit, there is no separate part number for each piece.
