We need to rally them for better purses.

That would be nice, but let's be realistic. Remember, we're lucky that they are still having the All-Mopar Southern Nationals! They have to have enough participation to justify raising purses, having more classes, etc. These days, it's difficult. On my IHRA circuit, a Nitro Jam/National event win in Stock will get me a little over 1/2 of what I was able to win just a few years ago due to less contingency sponsors. And car counts tend to be down across the board, including in NHRA.

I agree 1000%.... Let's fill the house then we can talk about payouts..... We are lucky they are even having the event... So talk it up to all our Mopar racers... We must support this event if we expect it to continue to happen... We'll be there with the new "stocker". So let's pack the house!!!!!!

I'd love to go. I'll have to explore the possibility of getting a race vehicle to use if my car isn't done. Anyone need a NHRA licensed driver?

I just got an email from Tim that the purses will be the same as last year.

I believe it was $2,000 to win in Super Pro and Pro???

They hope to get it posted soon.

I would love to go but the car isn't ready yet. If anyone needs a NHRA licensed driver I'm looking for a ride. I have a 4B license good to 7.50 and up to 125" wheelbase.

Just noticed that All Mopar Southern Nationals is a site sponsor here on Moparts - check the home page.
I plan to be there.

You cant just ask for a better payout and the turnout stay the same. They would never make a profit.
