i am installing a new gas tank, my old one is rusted all to crap and not usable. my question is how does the filler neck work with the gas tank? Does anyone have a picture of the setup. or give me an idea of how it is bolted up. unfortunatly my old tank didnt have a filler neck so i cant use that for referance. any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

If it's anything like GTX, it just goes thru a rubber grommet in the gas tank and then thru another rubber grommet in the tail panel. There's a clamp there at the tail panel. That's it.

Sorry, no pics at work but yes, there is a special rubber grommet at the tank. The neck is a plated metal tube with an "L" bracket banded on that accepts a bolt to hold it in place.
