Just thinking about a cam change in the future as i don't know the complete details of my motor if I were to go bigger with the cam should the heads be flowed first? I did talk to the engine builder about the heads when I bought the car but it had been a couple of years since he had done it so he couldn't give me exact flow figures.

You need to know the RPM range and intended use..street/strip?
ie; do you want to smash the rear tires at 3000rpm or do you want it to pull at 6800 at the end of the strip?

I got a piece of paper with the car with some details ( sorry for the lack of info)
496 rb
stage 2 ported eddy rpm heads
ported torker 440 intake
1.5 harland & sharp rollers
cam .565 lift with 274 @ .050 int & exh 114lc solid
920 holley
What i was thinking of going up to something close to .600 lift. This starts another question i would think the valve springs are what came with the heads again so if i were to go above .600 i'd have to change them to. The car mainly does weekend cruising but will run it at the track occasionally. 70 Cuda as well with 3300 stall in a 727 and 3.91 8 3/4. Haven't raced it since i got it but quite a few street miles on it but always looking to go a bit quicker.
