Is VanSenus still in operation in Hammond? Saw some killer engines come out of there.

VanSenus has done a good job for us in the past and yes they are still in Hammond IN (very close to 80/94 and the IL state line). We haven't had any work done by Chenoweth Speed & Machine but have herd good things about them as well

Heres a second on Ted at Opel Enginering. Ted is a perfectionist. I have never had any work done there that was not absolute top quality.

I was just at the Larry Roesch Mopar swap meet today and was talking with the guys at Westech out of Silver Lake WI. They came over after the show to pick the motor up so I hope they do good work. Anyone use them before?

Opel works on everything from antique engines to legal Pro Stock. Ted ran a A/MP Hemi cuda with Tom Hanner back in the day. The car was a consistent qualifier and held the NHRA record at one time. They also held the A/ED dragster record at one time. That was BBC powered. I personally use VanSenus for resto and mild builds and Opel for all out race builds. Bob

In my limited experiences with Mike at Chenowith I dont see how you can go wrong using them.

Absolutely. I know Norm (the owner) and his main guy there, Jim Daley. They know what they are doing and will be there 110% for you. They will listen to you and do whatever it takes to make a customer happy and satisfied. They did my rear spring relocation kit among other things for me and I felt extremely pleased with the work they did. If you happen to talk to them, just tell either Jim or Norm you know Dave with the 67 red coronet... haven't had to talk to them in a while/need their services, but they should remember me.

Ted at Opel is the man!
