FWIW the only reason I switched was the front mount distributor. With that I was unable to run the standard type pump and the reverse cooling Meziere was the chaepest easiest fix.

I have reverse cooling with Indy heads and drilled for entrance between the center exhaust ports. Since I have an external pump, it was just as much trouble building the set up for reverse flow as it was for normal circualtion. Seems to work great. As far as the pump goes, one of the best buys I have made in this hobby is the Craig Davies EWP set up. http://www.daviescraig.com.au/Electric_Water_Pumps-list.aspx

I couldnt get a hood/scoop on without using a cowl because of the stock location distributor height so I had to go to a belt drive distributor.
I used Andy's water blocks for mine.

Looks good. You did a nice job making up those hoses.

Thanks, the short one from the pump to the block was a
%$#*@, I had to give the 45 a little tweak and I'm still not too happy with it. Good thing is if I think the reverse flow doesnt help any I can always switch the hoses around and run the standard flow.

Nice job on the blocks and distributor plug Andy, nice looking parts.

Does anyone have a prt number on this pump? Also a measurement of how much it sticks out from the motor plate?

I got to ask a?What or the advantages of running one of these pumps?By cooling the heads first to run more timing or what

Not sure of a cooling advantage but im hoping with the motor on top like the one bigtime runs it might fit between the motor plate and the reverse drive F3 procharger on our new build.

I run one on my 557 and NO issues what so ever . I like the idea of running water to the heads first.
I got mine through Mancini and came with the chevy pump.
