I presume that a drivers licence is needed for high school competition? Can some one confirm this? Grandson Alex wants a car but he will not be 16 till next Dec. The way things are going,it may take that long to find him one!!

Ron...The kid is pretty responsible...He will pay for most of his own stuff. He works during the summer helping out his other granpa on the farm and helps his uncle shingle houses..I just don't want him in a camaro..

I thought it was d/l or permit valid for the times they are racing.

Thanks....There is supposed to be a 69? Dart around here with a 360 in it...Perfect for the boy!! Just waiting for info on it...As long as he carries his 3.9 grade average and continues with sports,we have no problem helping him out a bit..

I know my son needs a DL in the High School series in Mich. NHRA tracks you need A current license and be 16. Level 1 and level 2 permits not valid with out a licence driver in the seat neat to the permit driver. My son will be 16 in July and he can't wait..

He's starting out with a street car then I will move him to a faster car as the year goes..

They are suppose to have a valid drivers license

I assume the 3.9 gpa is your benchmark and it is reasonably attainable by the kid?

Reality check, that half the population is smarter then 50% of the people and it's a constantly contested fact.
