I just installed a solid state voltage limiter on my 67 Coronet. Do I still need the condensor that was originally on the 12 V input side of the old limiter?

not really as it was for smoothing out the voltage spikes of the old one so the radio wouldn't pick it up.

but I put mine back as it will help to keep the voltage nice and steady!
