Have you measured everything to know why the clearances are more than you want? crankshaft diameter, housing bore size, etc? hopefully you have the experience to accurately mic the crank and your using the lightest tension possible on your bore guage. every time you wiggle the guage the ball ends can drop .0001 or more into the bearing, keep that in mind. machine shop owner and engine builder
