Ok, need to really get going on my motor if I'm going to have the car on the raod by spring. I would like to run a CAST hydraulic roller with a wide lobe separation angle to benefit tuning the efi. the previous cam was a mopar purple 484 that was not designed to give a great vacuum source for efi engines. When I put this combo together over 10 years ago hydraulic rollers weren't available like today and certainly not with profiles suited for efi. I want to run a cast cam so to eliminate the need for a brass distributor gear if possible too. Any suggestions where to go? I looked at Hughes but did not see anything that would fit my needs. The car will be a mild 440, ported edelbrocks, 6pk efi (obvioulsy) and I plan to keep compression around 10-10.5:1 (that question will come in another post lol) I really do value all of your opinions and I know we have some really smart people here, so what are your thoughts?
When I die I want to go like my Grandfather did, quietly in his sleep. Not screaming like the passengers in his car.

I *think* crane uses a billet core with a pressed on cast dist. gear....others might, too.
I'd talk to hughes, see what they can custom grind for you, or talk to Tim at Bulletcams.com.
