My Dart is very hard to push and in this off season I am thinking about decreasing the rolling resistance. The brakes are adjusted fine but when I try to turn the rear tires without the driveshaft in it is very hard to do, and those green bearings feel tight, and have since they were new. I wonder if others have noticed this and if it could slow your ET enough to try something else. I was thinking about trying other axles with the stock tapered bearings. I also was thinking the rear could be bent some after 10 years of drag racing. Any thoughts or help appreciated.

I dont think you would see any difference in drag
between the different bearings but if your housing
is bent that can/will apply more load on the axles...
might want to look at the housing first

I just measured the housing and it is bent, in a direction that makes the slicks "toed in". I took everything off the axle and used a straight edge about 1 foot long fastened to both ends and the front was 52.3 inches and the rear measurement was 53 inches and according to the Archives it should be 52.625 so I think that's quite a bit off. I'll be visiting Moser to get another one shortened from a C body.
