The Dash in my Dodge Dart has a big crack in the dash pad and has a paint rip or two on the bezels. Does anyone make a good dash replacement (as in the entire thing) or is there anyone I could send it to restore it? I heard B,E,& A were good. Thanks for the input. I've seen the BEA Parts one Troy put in his 68 Dart dash and it looked real good. I don't think it could pass for NOS for that year, I thought it was real good. I don't think you'll find anyone to recover yours in any correct manner for $225. This dash was done for the $225 and the cost of paint. No expensive rechromed plastic bezels. [image][/image]

I didn't see anything at BE&A that showed a dash pad for a 68 Dart. The one they list is 69-76. ?
I dunno, but that where he got it from. Maybe they just don't have it listed on his website. Email and contact them. He is here on Moparts too. Just PM: HEMICUDA

That looks like the replacement one I got from Jack's that I put on ,my 70 Duster. Not 100% correct of course, but a nice piece that's worth the money and fine for me.
It's the new one from BEA that is made like the original. New metal core, hard foam, then a covered molded on skin. Feels between your fingers like an original.
Not the ones made from solid rubber or a glued on cap.

That's cool - mine is a number of years old.
Here it is installed as out of the box, unpainted and undyed.
Ride eternal, shiny and chrome

So I just send B,E, & A an email and ask them if they could restore my dash? Is that a radio delete dash?

1967 was a one year design, having a defined ridge that runs along the topside. 1968 had the same TOP dash pad as the 69-76 cars, but also used a sort of lower dash "tray". Maybe they dont list 1968 cars because they havent repopped the bottom section yet.
The '68 top pad is not the same as the later cars. The bottom ends are made to fit with the lower pads.

They are not going to "restore" your dash. The just sell a brand new pad and you put it on you dash frame.
Yes, that is a home made radio delete Troy made. The budget on that whole dash you see there is the $225 BEA pad, nice original good lowers like yours, and various spray paint cans, glue and textured plastic to make the delete bezel, a red marker, and some toothpaste.
You can restore your dash to look like that for not very much money at all.
You know, I might talk Troy into bringing that whole dash and in process pictures/slideshow for a "How To" tech session for the next CPW club meeting in Granada Hills Sunday Feb. 9th at 7:30pm. www.cpwclub.com
Last meeting the owner of Milodon talked about oil pans.
Email me at pwall5@aol.com for meeting details.

Here's some picture to help describe this. Maroon pad is a 69 up. The 68 pad is the green one attached to the dash frame.
