mlubahn OP member M Joined: Oct 2004 Posts: 117 CA	Hello Everyone. I have a 71 Charger SE with a stock 383 in it. Loaded car (A/C, PS, idler pulley, etc...). I am thinking of dropping in a 440 I have. THE QUESTION: Do all the engine pulleys and brackets interchange, or will I have to find some different ones??? If so, which ones are different between 383 and 440. THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!

Blown_Hemi master Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 3,136 Palm Coast, FL (near Daytona B...	The rear support bracket for the A/C, mounts to the valley pan hold down, is longer for an RB engine. The bracket is stamped with "RB", at mine is. Ask me my opinion of Frank Mitchell....... A Mopar crook!

The bracket is stamped with "RB", at mine is. thats the difference , didn't realize that the RB was stamped RB , should be fairly easy to find one , i may even have one if you need it .

Also your 383 has a bracket on the pass head that the long alt. bolt threads into.
