I'd really like to add these to my '69 RR. Does ANYONE have a template for the CORRECT location of these??

Thanks very much!

I've got a 69 RR here at the shop with them on it. I'll try to get some measurements for you and post some pictures from my phone in the next little bit. If not, then I'll have to post the pictures tonight when I get home from work.

I'll also post some pics. The main reason is because my car came with these fender mounted turn signals from the factory. However there is a difference between the location of the left fender and right. On the right fender the three holes follow the body line (edge of the top of the fender) in a nice straight line but on the left one the three holes are staight inline with each other but they are not straight with the body line. When you see the pics you'll see what I mean.

Do they get the low profile ones or the bullet style ones?

Road Runner would have the bullet in 68 and 69.

I used these. Sent by a member showing original installation location. Not the greatest for pinpoint accuracy but close enough. I had success using them.

It appears that one or both of the fenders on this 69 RR are not original to the car. They are definitely '69 fenders though, but I can not say which style indicator is correct for a RR. This style indicator is measured 3 inches off the top edge of the fender to the center of the indicator. The lens side of the indicator is 6 inches back from the leading edge. This is on the left fender. The right fender on this car did not have an indicator or holes for one. Hope this helps.

For some reason some early 69 road runners, and GTX's came with the small fender turn signal that you would see on a sport satellite, or coronet for 1969. Somewhere in late 1968 the road runners and GTX's got the bullets. I heard the supplier who was making them for mopar was unable to make them in time.

I've never seen the small singals on a Road Runner. Always bullet style. I have seen several 69 GTXs and Sport Sats with the small ones though.

My fathers car, as well as mine had the small turn signals. We decided to go to the bullets instead because they are more common and look cooler. My dads car and mine have 801 SPD's. They are 5 VINS apart. They will both be out and about this spring next to each other for the first time since 1968. BTW they are identical twins, option for option.

His car just went a full nut and bolt rotisserie resto over the last 3 years. It turned out gorgeous. Mopar and collector cars did the resto, and Mr. Six pack Bob Karakashian built the 383. This is what it looked like a couple days before she came home.

My dad is the reason Iam a car guy/mopar nut. He had a 69 RR when I was a baby, had a 69 convert when I was a small child also. That car was restored by yours truly and was finished in time for the road runner reunion at the NATS in 2005. Iam best friends with the current owner of my dads car. That road runner graced mopar action on August 2005. This is my dad and I in front of the car at the 05 Nats
