I got my bolt kit from Frank Badalson and it's a 70 so I don't know if it's the same but they are all silver including the nuts and washers except the long one on the drivers side which is grey phosphate. PM me your email adress and I will send you 2 high resolution pic's, one of each mount. They are about 3megs each.

I just went to Hoffmans Winner Circle and looked at pic's of their 69 Coronet resto. I installed mine per FSM but the arrangement on their engine differs. It may be a year thing or one of us is mistaken in their assembly. I think Franks came with a copy of the FSM also so I feel pretty confident in my installation.

BTW, the spark plug wire loom is incorrect and has since been replaced with a correct one. The one you see here is the one commonly sold. I looked a 1970 BB survivor to verify. Another incorrect item IMO is the #2 spark plug wire boot at the distributor. Again, after looking at survivors, it should have a 90 degree boot instead of the straight you see here which has been corrected.

Here is one I found. After viewing it, which appears to be original, I would conclude that mine are correctly installed.

FWIW - I have never seen that right hand wire bracket (on the head bolt) on any 440-HP'S.....It's in some kits but I have only ever had the left side one on original engines.

Here is another pic of an original that shows the 90 degree #2 boot at the cap.

Even though mine is 383 I think it would be the same so I agree. It came to light after the installation at which time it was too late to remove it.
