Ok...I'll ask....What the heck is "Lizzard Skin"
Lizard Skin ( http://www.lizardskin.com/ ) is a trade name for a spray on insulation products. I used two different formulas on this car, first was their SC (sound control) applied to the floor pans and firewall. The CI (Ceramic Insulation- more thermal than sound) product went on the underside of the roof and over the top of the SC on the floors, firewall, and under the plenum chamber. It was kind of an afterthought, my paint guy spent a bit of time on those floor pans/firewall. BTW, the flash on the photo's makes coloring appear much lighter than it really is, it's black.

Yes I have but I want real world advice, from guys who have sprayed it. Naturally they tell ya to buy their gun and "kit". Ive been in the business long enought to know thats a plow to buy more stuff from them.
Chrysler tell us all the time to buy the Miller special tool, when the job can be done with tools you have already.
And advice will be appreciated.
Kasey
Good points Kasey, I was also reading up on Shakey's build over on dodgecharger.com he used it as did other members. I think I'll be using the same stuff after I apply a layer of Rust Bullet on the interior.

Shameless plug for my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LD-oChMpSqMAs I mentioned in the video, my kit came with their gun. But I would think a body shutz gun would work just fine. As mentioned before, put on thin, dry coats. You are not really 'spraying' this stuff...The compressed air is sort of 'flinging' it, in a somewhat controlled manner. Good luck - It seems like great stuff! -Tom
