I am trying to keep my stock challenger seats but I do not fit in the car with the cage. Has anyone ever modified them to sit lower in the car? They are also getting re upholstered as well.

Thanks,

Josh

I'm using that 1/2 inch spacer under the front studs to lean mine back a bit. I sit too high in my car too. I don't remember it being so high, but I think the new foam I installed gave them a boost.

I don't think you can do too much about it unless you eliminate the seat's slider mechanisim and make your own fixed mount.

Its funny you say you don't remember sitting so high. I could not remember sitting so high either. I was thinking maybe when I get them redone somehow putting less foam in the bottoms...
