I'm about ready to mount my scoop on my Hemi Dart and I was wondering where to mount it. I'm looking for the measurement from the back of the scoop to the back of the hood.
Thanks, Troy

LOTS of guys would ask for them to be as far FORWARD as possible.
Where were they placed originally OE from the factory/Hurst?

Hi Tim I'm I reading you correctly....you say from the "cowl to the back of the hood scoop is 3 1/2" So what kind of air gap do you have between the cowl and the back of the hood?? My car is not here so I can not measure from my cowl forward.
Thanks, Troy

Troy, a friend of mine owns an original LO23 car with it's original hood If you need I can run down and take any measurement you need this coming weekend. It's only about 5 minutes from my house
