I've got Autolite 65s in my 360, and have a bunch of engine noise with a stereo I just put in. Is this a resistor plug, or not?

The plug is listed on most parts websites as "non resistor", but then when you read the specs, it says "resistor" type?

Which is it?

I run em in my 318 & I'm pretty sure it's a resistor. I'm not a stereo guru (I'd rather listen to the eng) but I think it's gonna take a specialized filter (of some sort) to stop the amt of static you are reporting

Check your grounds. You need to ground the engine to the frame and the body, with more than 1 connection each. It's almost always a bad ground that is attributed to radio noise. Make sure you check the radio as well as any amps you have.
